Friends of Harrow

Friends of Harrow (FOH) is a group of parents who work to enhance the school experience for the entire Harrow Community and beyond. We are not a Parent Teacher Association, but rather we focus on adding value.

There are many aspects to what we do; we help to arrange special learning and festival days in school such as International Day, Chinese New Year, Easter, Christmas and Book Day to make learning interactive and fun.

We assist the Thai department with special cultural events for students and parents such as Loy Kratong, Songkran, Teacher Appreciation Day and the Kings' birthday celebrations.

We aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports events wherever possible. We design and sell parent supporter shirts, financially assist school events such as the Harrow Golf Invitational, Family Fun Run, Prep Dragon Boat days, Too Fast Too Furious swim meets and our student Sports Awards.

We encourage student and teacher initiatives through our bidding program to provide those little extra things that make life at Harrow Bangkok so rewarding. These 'icing on the cake' projects have included the Friendship playground, Thai salas, Mindstorm Robotics, Harrow Radio, Harrow TV, Harrow Mini United Nations conference and the Nucleus Science Lounge to name a few!

We provide outreach opportunities for students’ personal development through our Travel Awards Program, where students plan projects to help underprivileged groups within Thailand and abroad.

We encourage music and creativity through the Musical Gala and Benefit Bash rock concert and the initiation of the Steel Pan Band.

Our Scholarship Program for pupils in neighbouring communities is close to our hearts and we also assist in bringing children and families from the six house charities to experience the amazing atmosphere of the Harrow Fair Day.

Our biggest event of the year is the Harrow Fair for the staff, pupils of Harrow and the local community, where students are able to showcase their many talents and have fun with their families and friends.

There are so many ways to be involved in the Harrow Community. Whether you are an elected committee member, assist committee members at sales and events, come to our Parent Workshops or simply enjoy being part of FOH events, we welcome your involvement. Please email foh@harrowschool.ac.th for more information or to get involved.
