Keller has been known for many years as the “sporting house” due to our sporting successes in the House competitions. However, with our more recent successes in non-sporting House events, such as House Art, Chess and Scrabble, we feel that we have significantly broadened our impact within the House system at Harrow Bangkok.

In Keller House, we value participation as much as we value success. To that end, any student who puts their name down for a House event will be given the opportunity to compete.

Student leadership in Keller House continues to be a major factor in our successes. Our House Captains, Sports Captains, Community Service Leaders and Tutor Group Leaders work together well to organise, encourage and support every member of the House. The Keller House leaders participate in peer reading and other academic support activities during the year, as well as being fully involved in working with and supporting our House Charity, Chaiyapruk Children’s Home.

The Keller House motto is: “Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much!”

Our continued success in the Harrow House System depends on us remembering and applying this simple phrase in all that we do.

Head of Keller House

I like being in Keller because it is a fascinating House where everyone cooperates and where the word “teamwork” does not remain only as a word. Noodee, Year 8

True Keller spirit is shown when students are willing to stay late in school to finish the House Art or at Sports Day where they will run long distances in the heat, even if sport is not a strong trait. Fah, Year 13

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.”
