Exhausted. Shattered. Worn out. These were some of the words passing through our minds as we made our ascent up to the 5357m tall peak of Gokyo Ri. However, through determination, encouragement and unyielding altitude, everybody on the trip was able to make it to the peak.

During the two week Songkran break, eleven students and teachers from Harrow Bangkok, including our Head Master, trekked in the Everest region of Nepal. Over eleven days, we walked nearly 100km, climbed a total of 7000m and reached the peak of Gokyo Ri at over 5000m altitude with clear views towards Mt Everest herself.

A wonderful experience was had by all involved on this most challenging expedition.
