On behalf of the Harrow Bangkok community it's my pleasure to warmly welcome all students and teachers from schools participating in the FOBISIA Tennis Championships 2016.

I'd like to thank Kate Richards and our tennis coaches, plus the many members of our sports department who have worked to ensure that the competition runs as smoothly as a Djokovic backhand. I'm also pleased that the tournament will see us collaborate with Bangkok Patana School to host the event. In all, 270 players from 17 schools will compete, with six different singles tournaments running at the same time – U11 Boys and Girls, U13 Boys and Girls and U15 Boys and Girls.

The values of collaboration, communication, creativity, resilience and independence form the core of the Harrow Bangkok sporting philosophy and I am sure we will see these attributes on display throughout the Championships. As a proud (half) Scotsman, with Andy Murray currently topping the world rankings, there couldn't be a better time to see our young warriors battle on court. Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Michael Farley
