While the Boarding houses at Harrow International School are not related to any particular day school House, they provide an important part of our identity. Students who share the boarding life at the Knoll (the girls’ house) and Bradbys (the boys’ house) are able to fully access the activities and facilities the school provides. The Houses are each named after a boarding house at Harrow School in London.

The international and local boarders enjoy a structured day, weekend activities and the warmth and support of a caring community within the Harrow campus. Both the Knoll and Bradbys are purpose-built residences with comfortable shared and single accommodation, communal areas, ICT access and menus which cater for international students.

The Head of Boarding has experience in boarding schools in the United Kingdom. She is supported by Senior House parents, House Tutors, a matron and nursing staff, GAP students and senior student monitors.

These staff, along with the many teachers and families also living on the campus, combine to create a lively onsite community.

After school hours, boarders are involved in their own afternoon activities programme and following supper, have supervised prep (homework). A varied activities programme is also provided at weekends.

Boarding places are available to students from Year 5 to Year 13
